Civil Designer - Auto Cad / Civil 3D / Revit
Position Description
State
Utility Contractors, the southeast leader in the water/wastewater construction,
has an immediate opening for an experienced Civil Designer in the
Treatment Plant Division. This candidate should have 2-5 years of experience using AutoCad, Civil 3D, and REVIT
design software. The candidates' primary role will be to support the
project management staff through the development of civil layout drawings, process
mechanical pipe & equipment installation drawings, and material
requisitions for all piping systems. This
person will work full-time in the Corporate office located in Monroe, NC. Close communication with our construction
project managers will be key to the project teams’ success.
A 2 -4
year degree from an ABET-accredited Community College, Institute, or University
is a plus. On-the-job training will
occur to meet the design style and needs of field operations. It will be this candidate's responsibility to
provide adequate notations and information on each drawing to quickly convey
the requirement of the project specifications for systems such as PVC,
Galvanized Steel, Stainless Steel, Carbon Steel piping, valves, and fittings.

This
position offers room for advancement into a project engineering position as
experience levels and performance increases. It is very important that
you are able to multi-task while working with multiple project managers, and
multiple projects at one time.
